CPU has met the qualifications set by The Department of Consumer Affairs. Bureau of Postsecondary Education BPPE for exemption from regulation under the Act, pursuant to California Education Code (CEC) section 94874(b)(1): “An institution offering educational programs sponsored by a bona fide trade, business, professional, or fraternal organization, solely for that organizations membership”.
