GRM 575 — ETHICS IN GRIEF COUNSELING
COURSE OVERVIEW: Welcome to GRM 575, Ethical Issues in Counseling.
This course is part of the Accelerated Masters in Grief Counseling program at Breyer State University. It is a 6-hour semester course that should be completed within 6 weeks. The aim of this course is provide students with an overview of major ethical issues in counseling and how to handle a variety of situations in practice, including self-awareness, multicultural sensitivity, legal issues, confidentiality, boundaries, multiple relationships, issues surrounding consultation and supervision, and a selection of ethical issues related to work with couples, families, groups and communities.
