their application in nursing practice and healthcare settings. Students will
examine various leadership models and approaches, analyze their relevance to

healthcare organizations.
This course will focus on the examination of healthcare policy development,
advocacy strategies, and the impact of policies on nursing leadership and
healthcare outcomes. Students will explore various aspects of healthcare policy
and develop skills in advocating for policy changes to improve healthcare
delivery. The course will include discussions, assignments, and readings to
provide a comprehensive understanding of healthcare policy and its
implications.
This course focuses on the study of organizational behavior theories and
management principles as they apply to nursing leadership roles. The course
aims to develop students’ understanding of the impact of organizational

The Capstone Project in Nursing Leadership is a culminating course designed to
integrate and apply the knowledge and skills acquired throughout the Master’s
program in Nursing Leadership. Students will demonstrate their ability to
address a specific issue or challenge in healthcare through the development
and implementation of a nursing leadership project. This course emphasizes
critical thinking, problem-solving, and evidence-based decision-making to
effect positive change in healthcare settings.
