CJ 490 – Capstone Project

COURSE OVERVIEW: This seminar is designed to be the “capstone” of your work and educational experience as a criminal justice major at Breyer State University. The course focuses on the issues and debates surrounding various topics and issues within the criminal justice system. The course is an examination of the criminal justice system including the myths and controversial issues associated with it.

TIMEFRAME: This is an 8 semester hour course. The course is allotted 15 weeks to complete. You must successfully complete all of the requirements by the end of the 15-week period. The first day of week one will begin the day that you register for the class or notify me that your book has arrived. Please keep that time frame in mind, as extensions or only granted in times of approved justification. Upon completion of the course, you will be awarded 8 semester hours of credit.
